Join Sparks Library and The Children's Cabinet for free, family-friendly activities and a resource fair promoting the social and emotional well-being of children and families. Children will plant a pinwheel garden in front of the library as a reminder of childhood and the bright futures all children deserve. Some of the organizations that will be joining us are Bikers Against Child Abuse, Paws 4 Love, Candelen, and Safe Embrace.

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to remember that we can each play a part in promoting the social and emotional well-being of children and families in our community. To help promote this reminder, Prevent Child Abuse America and local chapters nationwide use the Pinwheels for Prevention® campaign. The pinwheel is an uplifting reminder of childhood and the bright futures all children deserve. The Children’s Cabinet partners with our Nevada chapter, Prevent Child Abuse Nevada to conduct an outreach event that includes children’s activities.
