Cultivating an Ear for the World Around Us with Fil Corbitt

In this workshop, we will close listen to a collection of audio clips recorded in several different locations. Though we often think of soundscapes as a monolith: "the sound of wind" or "the sound of rain", there is often so much more that reflects our unique surroundings in that moment. The goal of this workshop is to dissect audio elements, and begin to cultivate a sharp ear for the world around us.
