Come to the IV Quad makerspace! The IV Quad features tools and materials, including our Cricut machines, that patrons can use free of charge. Every first Thursday of the month from 3 to 5 pm the IV Quad is open to the public and is staffed by library employees who offer assistance and instruction. See below for project details. Children under 13 must have an adult guardian with them at all times. Registration required. No group/family registration available. Each attendee must be registered separately.

This month's project is to design a coaster or coffee mug using sublimation and our Cricut machines. Using sublimation markers patrons can create their own designs and then heat press them onto the coaster or mug using our Cricut heat press. Due to heat and pressure, the dyes are absorbed into the polyester surface of the specially treated item to create a permanent image. Limited one project per person. 

Materials housed within the library as well as graphics or illustrations obtained by patrons may be protected by copyright. Patrons are responsible for abiding by copyright restrictions and obtaining any necessary permissions when using those resources.
