Petroglyph presents Voices of the Earth

Petroglyph presents Voices of the Earth

Petroglyph presents Voices of the Earth. The wind and the waves, unusual instruments from distant lands, songs celebrating nature—these are some of the “Voices of the Earth” that Petroglyph shares with their audience. David Blonski and Pete Fairley play music influenced by multiple cultures while telling stories of desert landscapes, raging rivers, towering mountains, and tropical islands. Performing on a variety of traditional and modern musical instruments from around the world, Pete and David engage audiences with movement, singing, and counting rhythms. From the jungles of Asia and the Matterhorn to waterfalls and the Southwest mesas, the music of Petroglyph takes audiences on a journey through multiple landscapes and connects to lessons in geography, the water cycle, zoology, archeology, and more.
