Pioneer Center Youth Programs presents In-Tune Tales: "The Grinch"

Pioneer Center Youth Programs presents In-Tune Tales: "The Grinch"

Bring the magic of the holiday season to life with spoken word storytelling, music, and song!  In this special program, the In-Tune Tales trio performs classic holiday stories and songs in an acoustic setting with upright bass, violin, guitar, and vocals.  The centerpiece of the holiday program is the beloved Dr. Seuss classic “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” told in its entirety with spoken word, songs, and musical sound effects.  This program also features several classic holiday songs performed in jazz, pop, and bluegrass styles and a sing-along for “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.”  This special limited-time holiday program is an annual favorite for adults and children alike.

Group leader and lifelong musician Scot Marshall has worked as an entertainer since the age of 15.  He learned the rich art of storytelling from his grandmother, who traveled with Chautauqua from 1916 to 1918.  Scot is joined by his son Graham Marshall on violin and career musician Ron Savage on piano.
