From Pen to Performance: Exploring Spoken Word Poetry with Spoken Views Collective

Spoken word poetry has been in the news lately thanks to Amanda Gorman, the former National Youth Poet Laureate who read "The Hill We Climb" at the 2021 presidential inauguration. You may be surprised to learn that Spoken Views Collective has been fostering Reno's spoken word poetry scene since 2006. Join co-founder and director, Iain Watson, and members of the collective for a virtual poetry reading and Q and A session. New members always welcome!
