New Pioneer Center Youth Programs presents Didgeridoo Down Under

Pioneer Center Youth Programs presents Didgeridoo Down Under (DDU) is a high-energy, Australia themed show that combines music, culture, comedy, character building, and audience participation. The didgeridoo, usually a hollow tree trunk, has been played by Aboriginal Australians for at least 1,500 years and is known for its otherworldly sound.

Didgeridoo Down Under (DDU) is a high-energy, Australia themed show that combines music, culture, comedy, character building, and audience participation. The didgeridoo, usually a hollow tree trunk, has been played by Aboriginal Australians for at least 1,500 years and is known for its otherworldly sound.

But DDU is more than music! It’s interactive, educational, motivational, and super fun. Learn about Aussie culture, animals and more, all while moving & grooving to the pulsing rhythms of the didge! Master didgeridoo player, Rob, takes the audience on a musical journey to Australia and beyond, as he plays an assortment of didgeridoos and worldly percussion instruments, mixed with colorful stories and humor.
