Join us for a virtual speaker series on topics of Nevada history with speakers from the Nevada Historical Society.

Inhabiting Historical Characters: My lives in Chautauqua with guest speaker Frank Mullen Jr.
Frank X. Mullen has been performing in Chautauqua living history events for 22 years as Babe Ruth, Henry VIII, Albert Einstein and others. He will share techniques for developing historical characters as he explains his methods of character selection, research, creating stage presence, assembling costumes and other aspects of preparation and performance. He’ll reveal what he’s learned in his time travels and show relevant video clips of a few performances in Nevada and elsewhere.
