Quad Makerspace on Thursdays at the Downtown Reno Library

Quad Makerspace on Thursdays at the Downtown Reno Library

The Quad makerspace at the Downtown Reno Library contains equipment and tools that the public can use free of charge to create, learn new skills, learn new technology, and practice artistic expression.

The Quad is open on Thursday afternoons from 3 pm until 6 pm. Project time ends at 5:45 so everything can be put away and cleaned up by 6pm.

Every week (except holidays) the Quad features hands-on equipment such as button machines, leather stamping tools, and a thermal laminator.

In addition, there is always a special project offered on Thursdays. On alternate weeks, makers can create a photo coaster, bookmark or mug with sublimation printing, and they can make tote bag using the heat transfer vinyl and heat press on alternate weeks. Limit one special project per person per week.

Please check the online Calendar of Events for weekly project information. http://events.washoecountylibrary.us/calendar/all/
