Coming to Get Our Check: Civil Rights and Social Justice Struggles in the 1960s and Beyond

In this talk in honor of Black History Month, Professor Greta de Jong of the UNR History department will discuss aspects of the fight for racial equality that are often overlooked, placing the civil rights activism of the 1960s in the context of a broader struggle for social justice that has implications for all the nation's people, not just African Americans.
