Historic Reno Preservation Society presents The Lincoln Highway 101: The First Transcontinental Highway Across America with Jim Bonar
The Lincoln Highway was the United State’s first transcontinental highway. Running from New York City to San Francisco, it passed through Reno, Sparks, and Carson City, crossed Donner Summit and wound around Lake Tahoe.
Jim Bonar, the Lincoln Highway Association's national board member for Nevada, will present this lecture and slide show on the development and history of the highway.
