We are tool makers. From our time as hunter gathers to modern times, human imaginations have driven the invention of tools impacting the development of civilization, and the perception of human existence within the Cosmos. Specifically, the invention of the telescope transformed our understanding of near and far space. The heavens once thought to consist of stars fixed in place amongst the night sky became dynamic and ever changing with the look through an eyepiece coupled with the methods of science.
