This month's selection is Shane (1953).  A Western directed by George Stevens and shot on location in the Grand Tetons, the film stars Alan Ladd in the title role of a weary gunfighter trying to settle down but forced to deal with ruthless gunslingers including an exceptionally sinister Jack Palance.
