Guests at the Bundy Guest Ranch

From 1947 to 1960, the Bundy Guest Ranch, a mile from Bowers Mansion, hosted divorcees, vacationers, and friends. Who were these people? How did the Bundys, who had no formal experience in hosting and caring for guests, manage to care for guests, maintain a household, and raise two daughters? In 1961, the divorce era was over, and the Bundy Guest Ranch was sold.
Presenter Tina Bundy Nappe has always regarded Washoe County as home and family, while in school, working, raising a family, and now as a retiree, participating as a volunteer.
