Celebrate 60 Years of the Downtown Reno Library!

To mark the 60th anniversary of the Downtown Reno Library, we’re inviting the community to explore one of our best-kept secrets — the library’s historic bomb shelter.

For a limited time, we’ll be offering public guided tours that give visitors a rare behind-the-scenes look at this unique space and its place in local history. Whether you’re a longtime library supporter or a first-time visitor, this is a special opportunity to discover a hidden part of the library you may never have seen before.

Please note:

• The bomb shelter is not ADA accessible and requires navigating stairs and tight spaces.

• Participants must be 18 years or older to participate.

• A waiver of liability must be signed on site prior to the tour.
