Due to heavy snowfall and hazardous road conditions, all Washoe County Library locations with morning hours will delay opening until 11 am on Wednesday, February 18. Branches opening later than 11 am will be open for regular hours.
STEAM: Colorful Cabbage
Join us every other Tuesday for an afternoon of drop-in STEAM activities. These projects are best suited for ages 7 and up with an adult. The library provides all necessary materials and no registration is required.
How do plants drink water? Using a cabbage leaf and some food coloring, we will experiment with the capillaries inside of plants.
