Ray Bacasegua Valdez was born in Kingsville, Texas, and is of Nahua (Mexico) and Yaqui (Yoeme) Native American ancestry. He is a Tribal member of the Texas Band of Yaqui Indians.

Ray is an accomplished fine artist and muralist. His work includes more than 20 murals throughout Nevada, including his largest piece which is approximately  4,000 sq feet created for the Truckee Meadows Water Authority.

Look This Way, is Ray's first gallery show at the Downtown Reno Library, featuring a selection of his art. We invite you to join us in celebrating his work at the gallery reception.
