The Duncan/Traner Community Library will be closed Thursday, July 16 and Friday, July 17, for carpet cleaning. The Northwest Reno Library is closed for heating and cooling replacement and roof retrofit. The branch is expected to reopen in late summer.
Computer Skills 104: Microsoft Office
Sparks Library's ongoing computer classes are designed to give beginners a proper introduction to various computer programs and actions. In this class, students will learn the following:
- Navigation and the ribbon, basic formatting tools, cut/copy/paste, saving
- Save vs. save-as, spacing, spell check
- Quick access toolbar, mini toolbar, printing and print preview, undo and redo, bullets and numbering
- File extensions and compatibility, margins, page orientation, tables, more learning resources
Prerequisites:
- Mouse and keyboard proficiency
- Saving documents and attachments
