Book Club: Famous Movie Adaptations

Is the book always better than the movie? You can be the judge as we look at famous adaptations of classic and favorite books. The film selections reflect a variety of genres, including Romance, Western, Espionage, Science Fiction, Crime, and Drama. Stars include Laurence Olivier, Gregory Peck, Greer Garson, Sean Connery, Sidney Poitier, John Wayne, Henry Fonda, Robert Redford, Mia Farrow, and many others. All screenings will be introduced by library staff, and followed by a brief discussion. Come join our cinematic Book Club as we watch these timeless adaptations.
