Join us for a kid-friendly afternoon of scientific exploration and discovery in the heart of downtown Reno! Hosted alongside the Geothermal Rising Conference, this event is open to both visiting families and the local community — all are welcome to celebrate Reno’s role as a leader in geothermal energy. The adventure begins at The Discovery Museum, where families can enjoy snacks and drinks, explore interactive exhibits, and catch a live science demonstration. Then we’ll head across the street to the Downtown Reno Library for a geothermal-themed scavenger hunt — complete with clues, a plaque rubbing station, and prizes — plus a cozy renewable energy story time for younger attendees.
