Our friends at PBS Reno are providing our 1st-3rd graders the opportunity to participate in reading circles this summer facilitated by library volunteers! Reading Buddies will run every Tuesday in July from 3:30-4:30 pm..

How it works:

• Register your child for any of the 5-week stand-alone sessions. You do not have to register for all five, but can rather pick and choose sessions.
• Come ready to read together with a small group of other kids with a library volunteer. Kids will also watch a short PBS segment and engage in a reading and writing engagement activity or game.
• Please cancel your registration if you won't be able to attend to move other participants off of the waitlist. 
• Parents/guardians must remain in proximate view of their participating child during the sessions.

1. July 1st: Empathy
2. July 8th: Honesty
3. July 15th: Mindfulness
4. July 22nd: Generosity
5. July 29th: Forgiveness
