Spark your child’s imagination on the second Sunday of every month with this free hour-long workshop, designed for kids ages 6–12. There will be a presentation and a related hands-on activity. This collaborative effort is brought to you by The Generator, City of Sparks, and Washoe County Library System.

This month Ruth Flagg will be teaching a class on how to use a cardboard weaving apparatus to make unique mug rugs.

Flagg is a fiber and paper artist working out of The Generator in Sparks. She enjoys teaching others her craft, showing how easily we can make art with things we find around us. Each student will take home a weaving and the supplies and knowledge needed to make more at home!
