Join us this winter at the Northwest Reno Library for a community art event! We invite patrons of all ages to participate in our winter art gallery. Here’s how it works:

Pick Up Your Canvas: Beginning December 1, visit the library to collect a free canvas.
Create Your Winter Wonderland: Take the canvas home and let your imagination run wild. You can paint, draw, or use a variety of art mediums to design your unique winter landscape. Submissions will be accepted through January 15.
Decorate the Library: Return your finished masterpiece to the library, where it will be displayed on the tree pillars of Northwest, adding a personal touch to our seasonal decor.
Not only will you brighten up our library with your artistic flair, but you’ll also be part of a wonderful community project. Don’t miss this chance to share your winter spirit and enhance the festive atmosphere at the Northwest Reno Library

Art reception will be help on January 19. Bring your friends and family to see your work!

 

Rules:

· Other than food, mixed media materials are welcome to be used.

· Artwork must be on a 5″x 7″ canvas and will be displayed in a designated area. Participant’s name and contact info will be on the back of the canvas.

· Patrons can also have their name and age displayed beneath their work if they choose.

· Artwork and the titles of the artwork must be appropriate for all ages.

· Library staff reserves the right to reject any art that does not follow these guidelines.

· Northwest Reno is not responsible for lost or damaged artwork.
