Spark your child’s imagination on the second Sunday of every month with this FREE hour-long workshop, designed for kids ages 6-12. There will be a presentation and a related hands-on activity. This collaborative effort is brought to you by The Generator, City of Sparks, and Washoe County Library System.

Emily Stewart is a Board-Certified Music Therapist and Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist providing music therapy services in Reno, Nevada, to persons of all ages and abilities. Em believes that music is a community necessity, and enjoys exploring life stories through sound. In their workshop, Em will share the joys of musical expression through teaching improvisation skills, body rhythm games, the basics of singing technique, music and movement, and more. Each participant will receive an egg shaker instrument to keep the rhythms rocking at home.

Programs space is first come first served and limited based on available space and supplies.
