Spark your child’s imagination on the second Sunday of every month with this FREE hour-long workshop, designed for kids ages 6-12. There will be a presentation and a related hands-on activity. This collaborative effort is brought to you by The Generator, City of Sparks, and Washoe County Library System.

Kimiyo Cordero recently moved to Nevada and was on the Nevada Department of Education Curriculum planning team as well as Washoe School District's Visual Arts Leadership Team and The National Art Education Association School for Leaders. Kimiyo has designed curriculum and taught extensive programs for the Nevada Museum of Art, San Jose Museum of Art, The Triton Museum of Art, Campbell Union School District, and The Nevada Department of Education. She has a passion for leading, designing curriculum, and teaching. Kimiyo will be guiding participants through a mixed-media watercolor activity.
