If your child is between the ages of 5 to 7 years of age and loves to create with Legos, we have a wonderful opportunity for them. Spanish Springs Library wants to help your child learn more about basic coding to make their creations come to life.  Sign up for our two-day camp and let them explore. Sessions will run from 1 pm to 3 pm on Dec. 30th and 31st. Guardians of participants need to stay in the library while camp is running.

 Day 1:  Using prebuilt robots, learn basic coding for movement to navigate through a basic maze. Learn basic sensor use for both color sensing and proximity measurement. Using pre-created coding prompts patrons or adjust setting in coding to navigate through a maze more efficiently. Add additional pieces to your robot to customize it and make it your own. 

Day 2: Robot Art Using a basic prebuilt robot, patrons will create their own drawings.
