Pastel artist Tamami Tokutake explores the colors and textures of Nevada landscapes. Tamami enjoys taking an ordinary scene that she comes across, and turning it into a view to which you can relate. Her goal as an artist has been to find that special something that makes paintings ring to your soul, and hers. She hopes that you enjoy a moment of quietude, feel the breeze, and hear the rustle of grasses.

The show, High Desert Colors, runs from January 11 through February 23.
