A musical storytelling adventure for kids, featuring the Hans Christian Andersen story, The Nightingale, adapted by Kevin Lau, presented by the musicians of the Reno Chamber Orchestra, featuring Music Director and pianist, Kelly Kuo, Concertmaster, Ruth Lenz, Principal Clarinet, Karl Busch, and Executive Director and narrator, Amy Heald.

The Reno Chamber Orchestra was established in 1974 by a group of local musicians working in casino showrooms. In its 50 year history the RCO has flourished, now boasting six regular season concert sets, a statewide youth concerto competition, and community partnerships that build pathways for access to classical music for all.
