For 2024, the Incline Village Library’s Tahoe Talks series will focus on citizen engagement using some of the material included in, Our Common Purpose: Reinventing American Democracy for the 21st Century. We will concentrate on the first two imperatives outlined in the report.

In the spring, 2024, the talks will center on achieving equality of voice and representation through our political institutions. In the fall, the conversations will pivot to empowering voters in a lasting way.

April's Topic: Constitutional amendment to authorize the regulation of election contributions and spending; campaign-finance disclosure laws; clean election laws.
