Spark the Imagination
Spark your child’s imagination on the second Sunday of every month with this FREE hour-long workshop, designed for kids ages 6-12. There will be a presentation and a related hands-on activity. This collaborative effort is brought to you by The Generator, City of Sparks, and Washoe County Library System.
Michael Poudrier is a Permaculture specialist and sustainable living enthusiast. Having spent ten years in the film industry building props, robots, and sets for both television shows and music videos alike, they now focus their artistic endeavors on projects that shine light on the benefits of returning our collective focus to nature. Michael's activity involves a playful talk on the importance of topsoil, followed up with a group activity where attendees will be given a terracotta pot to paint, which will then be planted with one of our cold climate's favorite nitrogen fixing plants: Snow Peas!
Programs space is first come first served and limited based on available space and supplies.
