Computer Skills 102: Internet Basics
Sparks Library's ongoing computer classes are designed to give beginners a proper introduction to various computer programs and actions.
In this class, students will learn the following:
- Introduction, browsers, websites, online news.
- URLs, domains, Wikipedia, forms, CAPTCHAs.
- GCF Learn Free, Google, Craigslist, common browser mistakes, popups, secure vs. insecure sites.
- Tabs, Internet safety, review & practice.
Pre-requisites: Mouse and keyboard efficiency
Seating is limited. Registration is required.
