The Downtown Reno Library will be closing starting Monday, November 27 for renovations to the elevator, and is expected to reopen with limited services on Monday, December 18.

KAREN BURNS – Reno/Tahoe entertainment historian, Karen Burns, recalls the legendary showroom headliners
through her personal backstage accounts and the art of theatrical costume design. Karen began as a local chorus
girl, dancing with Betha the Elephant at John Ascuaga’s Nugget as well as in the legendary show Hello Hollywood
Hello before becoming a sought-after producer of live events. Her costume collection is one of the largest in the
world.
