Nevada Historical Society presents High Noon with Neal Cobb Winter Series: Home is Nevada: Animal Ark, episode #9 Video

Live on Facebook and Zoom

Nevada Historical Society presents High Noon with Neal Cobb, a wonderful history series that delves into fascinating Nevada topics with local experts. Neal Cobb is a passionate historian and honorary curator for the Nevada Historical Society. He loves all things Nevada. Join Neal Cobb and our monthly speakers as we explore interesting topics and join in the audience conversations.

A special viewing of Home Is Nevada, where hosts Neal Cobb & Dick Stoddard get a behind the scenes tour at Animal Ark Wildlife Sanctuary. This series was developed for possible programming on a major network.

Animal Ark is a 38-acre wildlife sanctuary located in the Northern Nevada foothills at Red Rock.

The founders Aaron and Diana Hiibel created a small wildlife rescue operation that developed into a rehabilitation center and wildlife sanctuary. The sanctuary eventually grew from only native wildlife species into exotic species from across the globe. While the operation has grown over the years in its size, at its core remains the goal of wildlife education and environmental stewardship. Animal Ark looks to continue its mission in instilling that same love Aaron and Diana held for wildlife in future generations to come.
