Tahoe Talks: Understanding Systemic Racism and White Supremacy

This talk traces the history of laws and policies that created and enforced racial inequality in the United States from the colonial era to the present. Professor Greta de Jong and Assistant Professor Callum Ingram will explain how racist social structures and ideas about white supremacy were intertwined and reinforced each other, and why this history is essential for understanding and addressing racial injustice today.
